First Aid Training
We run Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Courses, First Aid at Work (FAW) Courses including the FAW Requalification (FAWREQ) course, and Ofsted recommend Paediatric First Aid (PFA) courses in Thanet and across Kent. All the courses are delivered as a face-to-face course.
As a company registered with and following guidelines from the Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK we can offer Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and other first aid courses, as they meet specific competency and quality assurance standards set by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). As a training company that adheres to current RCUK resuscitation guidelines and maintains the required instructor competence and quality assurance, we are well-placed to offer first aid courses. We offer on-site training or at a Kent Resuscitation Training site if preferred.

What course do you require?
As an employer, you must provide adequate and appropriate first-aid equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure your employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work.
First aid courses range from basic emergency response to comprehensive workplace certifications, with key types including Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day, low-risk) and First Aid at Work (3 days, high-risk). Other common courses include Paediatric First Aid for children, AED/CPR training, and annual refresher courses, generally valid for three years.
If you are unsure Kent Resuscitation Training can offer you a first-aid needs assessment to indicate what level of course your trained first-aiders require. The level of training undertaken should be as identified in the assessment. Typically, this will be either first aid at work (FAW) training or emergency first aid at work (EFAW) training. However, it may also be some other level of first-aid training, outside the usual framework, if indicated by the need’s assessment.
